nutella baked oatmeal.

Sometimes cereal just doesn’t cut it.

And sometimes a girl actually has more than 5 minutes to make herself breakfast before running out the door.

Today was that day.

{inspired by CCK’s baked oatmeal for one}

ingredients:

1/2 cup regular rolled oats
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Nutella
1/3 cup milk
sprinkle of cinnamon
pinch of salt

directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place Nutella in [...]

hey new neighbor.

(Speaking of small dogs…)

Your yappy little friend is driving me loco.

(not actual dog)

And the fact that it resembles a large rodent doesn’t help. Yeahisaidit.

let’s be real.

I love that I’m a dreamer. But sometimes I worry that I’m too much of one.

I have a fear that I won’t get the chance to travel the world.

My favorite blog posts come to mind when I’m lying in bed and can’t fall asleep. Like this one.

I have a weird obsession with the word “pixie.” Couldn’t [...]

gml approved: beauty products.

I tend to go on and on about how much of a girlie girl I am, but I must admit that I don’t know much about one of the most girlie things of them all – beauty products. I’ve gotten more into makeup and skincare products lately, though - so due to a few of your [...]

five nyc {holiday} date ideas.

I should probably admit that this is actually my first holiday season living in NYC. #rookie
With that being said, I do like to think I know what makes for a good date. #girlie

I could tell you to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular show or walk by the window displays at Barneys, but you’ve heard [...]

better late than never.

A few months ago I said so long to BlackBerry and switched to my dad’s ancient old iPhone3. Even with the least-capable of the iPhones…and one that shattered the moment I dropped it on carpet…I have indeed become the shameless iGeek I swore I’d never be.

…one that just said “indeed.” Ugh.

Needless to say, this morning I [...]

cozy.

Wait…where did this year go?

my thanksgiving.

…looked a little bit like this.

This past year has brought more for me to be thankful for than ever before. I’ve been showered with overwhelming opportunity, challenges, relationships, blessings, and love…and then some.

Merci. Gracias. Thank you.

What did your Thanksgiving look like?

diy decor.

DIY is not my strong point.
And I’m certainly no artist.
But I do like to think I can make a pretty decent collage.

I’m a sucker for just about anything that leaves me feeling a) inspired and b) girlie…

(except for scrapbooking. cringe.)

…so cut-outs from old copies of my favorite magazine fit the bill for this particular collage.

Think [...]
