5 November goals.

Hi dolls!

I must admit that I rarely ever stick to monthly goals, but with two months left in the year, I’m giving it one more shot :) Here are my five goals for the month of November.

Enjoy your Monday! xoxo G

  • What are your November goals?

28 comments to 5 November goals.

  • Great goals - now I want to start setting goals for myself! :-)

  • great vlog girly!! love the updo goal.. those braids are really hard!

my goal is to find an awesome new job that i love

  • Too cute! Love your positivity and forthrightness :)

    Make my pecan pie cookies!

  • Love these goals Gracie! Forever 21 has some great trendy headbands if you need some hair accessories for your beauty goal :)

Also, I am doing a handmade Christmas too - only not baked good because I’m not exactly a whiz in the kitchen. However, if you post something with 3 ingredients and minimal ability to screw it up, I might change my mind.

I especially love the last goal..so excited for you!

love your vlog:) and your goals.

also i think a great great blog post could be about your new ( kind of) not letting healthy eating rule your life, but still being concerned with it? if that makes any sense, but with what you were saying on your video- i can totally relate (not sure if it cause we are the same age or what but I LOVED this topic!)

  • Oh man, goals-goals-goals! I’m always starting the same darn goals month after month it seems HA! Some of mine are:

    More prayer/devotions
    Drink a gallon+ daily
    Floss daily

  • Wow I should make my beauty goal the opposite of yours — I must start wearing my hair down more!

    Anyway, great goals!!

  • Great post!

For your Christmas baked goods, try peppermint bark. It is so easy to make and travels well!

  • I have my black belt in Karate and LOVED it as a workout, confidence builder and all around eye-opener (or eye gouger…I mean i can seriously kick some a$$ if I ever need to;)

love the goals! i need to make some too….before the new year starts!

  • steph

Great vlog! Thank you for sharing! I wish you the best with your goals and as far as baked goods go… i think it doesnt have to be too hard for you… people can bake me the simplest things but as long as it isnt slice&bakes, it touches my heart :)

  • Aww yay I love this!! So funny- I wrote down my goals this morning and am going to post them in like an hour. Great minds think alike!!

Peppermint bark is an amazing gift….everyone loves it!! Or you can make a whole bunch of “barks” customized to different people using all sorts of nuts, candies, pretzels, melted chocolates, etc. Homemade candy bars, basically! Look on allrecipes.com

And as far as hair goes- I LOVE a ballerina bun. It’s chic, it gets your hair off your neck, it’s simple and it never goes out of style!

Hope you have a great start to your week love!

I definitely agree about wearing the hair up. I have some sort of complex against wearing my hair up for some reason! I think its because I wore it up every single day all through middle school. There are so many cute up-do’s! You should def do a video about it- I need ideas too!

  • Love the goals! Keep us posted with the home-made christmas gifts! I’ve been thinking about going down the same route, plus…I want to try my hand at baking FOR REAL this Christmas break! I’ve never really baked at all!!

    Good luck! xoxoxo

  • You’re so darn adorable! Can we be bffs when/if I move to NYC? LOL.

I used to make goals and then my goals ruled my life. However, I am ready to start making more goals. I’ve really had one huge goal: LAND A JOB THAT WORKS! There have been opportunities, but something felt off about all of them. I feel as though once the job thing happens, everything else will fall into place.

You know, I would love to take a kick boxing class. I’ve wanted to for practically six years now! I need to make some $$$ before I can do it, though.

Like you, I usually wear my hair down. When I wear it up, it’s in a bun so it gets wavy and I can wear it down. But I am horrible with updo’s! I hope you master them so you can teach us all.

Have a faaaaab November 1. THIS IS THE MONTH!!!

  • I like how you’re setting small goals for a month. Most of my goals are too big to be a month goal and therefore pretty overwhelming.

  • I LOVE your vlogs, lady!

I am doing Then Heather Said’s Handmade Christmas challenge, so I have a lot of cookie recipes I’ll be experimenting with (and posting about). So far, I’m having a lot of fun making all the gifts!

  • Lindsey

    Hi!
First, I wanted to say I love your blog! I’m sort of going through a phase of switching from super health-oriented to just doing and eating what I love too.
Second, these bars (http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/Cranberry-Date-Bars) are my favorite holiday cookie! Try them and tell me what you think :) For up-do hairstyles, I usually french braid about a 1 inch section down my hairline starting from my part and then gather all my hair into a pony tail. It’s simple but looks girly and cute! Also, I was wondering how you did your eye makeup for this vlog because it looks gorgeous!

  • hey girl whtaever makes you accountable I am ALL for it :) you are so cute and love your hair!! i wish mine had volume :(

martial arts classes?? AWESOME! go for it!!

  • Awesome goals! You should definitely do posts on the different updos you try! I would love to get some new ideas. :D

My November goals are to make it through my midterms/papers alive and to find more time to bake.

  • Jules

I love your outlook on health and fitness. While I admire and marvel at people who run marathons, etc, I think its important to know that you don’t have to do that to be healthy and fit!! You should make some chocolate lollipops, just melt chocolate, put it in molds, stick the sticks in the mold, refrigerate, and voila!!!

  • Regina

Great goals! I got a little sidetracked and watched some of your other videos, namely your hair tutorial. Got so inspired I curled my hair total! Hello, gorgeous curls. THANKS!

  • Great goals Gracie! I love your gift idea! I recommend personalizing each gift to the person you are making it for. For example incorporate something that is unique to them or something that they love into each piece to make it really personal and special. Maybe ask your friends/family what their favorite candies are, cookies, dessert etc. They you can try recreating them in whatever you back (ex skor pieces in cookies/cakes/cupcakes,loaves/muffins, or Banana peanut butter cookies if they love banana peanut butter sandwhiches). I would then go to a craft store and buy a bunch of inexpensive cardboard gift boxes to put your gifts in, and then take personal memories of each person and stick them all over the box. Maybe a picture of you and the person you’re giving the gift to, along with some words or sentiments/memories that are special to you and that person!
Good luck with your goals. I took Tae KwonDo for 7 years!
