What is it about Sunday that calls for a big, comforting breakfast?
Well, considering the fact that I woke up at noon, make that lunch.
While enjoying a few big cups of coffee and spoonfuls of Dark Chocolate Dreams, I took over the kitchen to make breakfast for Liz and myself. On the menu: bacon, toast, and cheesy scrambled eggs with mushrooms and onions.
After a late night and not eating since 7pm yesterday, food has never tasted so good!
Let’s just say we definitely ended July on a good note…
TERRA chips giveaway.
I mentioned yesterday how much I’ve been enjoying TERRA vegetable chips. To be honest, I’ve never been a huge fan of plain old potato chips. I just find them to be so…bland. But a mix of exotic, flavorful vegetable chips? Yes please!
My favorite variety would have to be A La Mexicana. They’re super flavorful and make for the perfect crunchy snack. I can’t help but think that these chips would also make the perfect addition to a turkey sandwich (did anyone else do that as a kid…?)
Not only are Terra chips delicious, but each 1 oz serving equals one full serving of vegetables. And, I don’t know about you, but I don’t think it gets much better than eating vegetables in chip-form.

Exotic harvest chips! Chiefly because they contain…KABOCHA SQUASH. If I don’t win I am totally going to scour the stores for that flavor because kabocha squash is one of my favorites.

well other than the A La Mexicana that you posted, I checked out their site and have to say that another flavor would be the Kettles Chesapeake Bay and Beer Potato Chips, it definitely has me curious!

It’s a toss up between trying the Unsalted version to see how they taste (and enjoy the less sodium for sure) and the sweet potato. I love sweet potato fries, how could I not love the chips too???
