But seriously – I still pinch myself almost every morning when I wake up and realize that I can work from home (or anywhere with an internet connection, for that matter). Right now that might not be as “glamorous” or lucrative as many of the jobs in New York, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. To me, flexibility is priceless.
…and so is getting to work in my pajamas if I want to.
…and having home-cooked lunches (a la Jessi!).
…and not worrying if anyone’s watching when I take an awkward self-photo to say hi to my family.
(I think I just defeated that purpose by posting it on the internet. Ahem.)
…and being home when this massive package arrived for me.
…and then using my break to do something useful like, oh say, assembling what’s inside…!
Do you work at home or at an office? Which would you prefer?

I do a little bit of both–I work from home and go into an office! There are some days when I like the office environment because it gets me out of the house, but other days (like when it’s pouring!) it’s so nice to work from your comfy couch with your hair in a messy bun.

I do admin/accounting for my dad’s RE appraisal company and am starting a company launching in September
Ah I wish I could work from home sometimes, but at the same time, I work with such entertaining people I would be sad knowing what I was missing out on!
I’m starting grad school in September, so I guess im going to be in a classroom/office.
I’d love to work from home though! No worries about what to pack for lunch or what to wear sounds awesome to me.
I have the karma necklace that company sells. I never take it off, its easily my favorite piece of jewelry!
