Over the weekend the girls and I called The Montauk Beach House our home.
MBH – right in the heart of Montauk – is having their official grand opening next week, but we were lucky enough to stay at the new hotel for Jessi’s birthday getaway.
Not only is the location prime (just a block from the beach and close to most shops, restaurants and nightlife) - but with a private beach club membership and special events at No 50 - The Montauk Beach House is almost like a destination in itself. The overall design and ambience is also exactly what a beach hotel should be.
Our room was cozy and beachy with a fun shabby-chic feel.
The pool area is right in the center of the hotel and surrounded by comfortable cabana-like lounge chairs.
Last but not least, the cafe in the lobby served our city favorite – Stumptown Coffee.

A hotel room has to feel luxurious–big, comfy robes are a must! I also usually like to pick a spot with a spa if I’m staying there for a week or longer.

Oh my gosh that looks like so much fun!!! As long as my hotel has a gym, a pool, and is close to the fun, I’m good to go
