What do you get when you combine 10 girls, 3 hotel rooms, a 2-hour dance party, and 1 beautiful bride-to-be?
Chrissy’s bachelorette party, of course!

On Saturday afternoon I hopped on the train to Philadelphia and headed straight to the hotel to help decorate for the big night.

After some typical bachelorette shenanigans and freshening up, it was time to hit the town! First on the agenda was El Vez, a Mexican-American Steven Starr restaurant.
Because there were so many of us we went with one of the group dining packages, which included three courses, sides, and dessert. Needless to say, we had a ton of food. Some of the deliciousness:

Each dish was better than the last! I loved the environment of El Vez too; it was really festive and a downright fun spot for dinner with friends.

After dinner we headed to Mad River for lots of laughs, dancing, and even a bachelorette scavenger hunt.

The night ended with a walk back to the hotel in the pouring rain. On a normal night that would be an annoyance, but I actually can’t think of a more appropriate way to end the bachelorette party of my dear friend, Cwissnut

And now here I am, back in NYC and ready to get this new week started. Have a lovely Monday, sweets. xoxo G
What would your perfect bachelorette party look like?

omg how fun! I remember mine, just close friends and a fun night out!
The mexican place looks amazing, ummmm I would just order that dessert plate for my meal! lol!
Are you going to HLS?!!
I’m not!
I’m in my other friend Nicole’s wedding that weekend in Delaware
Please tell me what is on that dessert sampler!
I spy…flan?…churros?…and what elese? mmmmmm
Glad you have a fun night! Such pretty girls in those pics! I have been craving quality Mexican for quite some time now, but alas, the only thing near me is an over-priced American knock off and Taco Bell….not sure which is worse.
What a fun weekend! Love the decorations.
Aw sounds like a super fun night!
My Bachlorette was super fun and exactly what I wanted. After months of wedding planning it was a much needed break! We basically ate good food and shopped and did nothing. I really wanted to just watch tv and relax haha. I remember waking up the next morning early and thinking “ok now this is kind of it…in a month I will be married. ohmy
“
That just looks like the best time! I love the bright colors of the decorations.
I just hosted my besty’s bachelorette in Philly a few months ago too, and it was intense. I think we tried to travel to too many bars for my liking (note to my future bridal party, lol). I think my perfect bachelorette party would be a weekend long, at some sort of beach or vacation destination…. something exciting and new, and definitely not somewhere I spend time in already.
That certainly sounds like a fun time! Love the hot pink leis
I think my perfect bachelorette party would probably involve my friends from all over the world meeting up in New York. To have them all together would be brilliant.
My friends threw me a perfect bach party a few weeks ago… and the walk back to the hotel/shanannigans after the club were the most fun!
Ahhh that looks like so much fun! I have yet to go to a bach party – but many of my friends are getting rings on those fingers.. so I am sure there will be many to come!
Friends are the most important ingredient! I’d also sprinkle in some wine tasting and spa treatments
you so purty. and it looks like you had SO MUCH FUN!
Bachelorette parties are so much fun!! I love how you decorated the hotel room! Looks like you had LOADS of fun!!
Ahh looks like so much fun! I’ve been trying to get ideas for my own bachelorette party and dinner/dancing are definitely on my list
Looks like a blast! I could go for one of those churros right about now… If I had a bachelorette party, I’d like to spend on a boat on Lake Michigan w/ all my girlfriends – sun, fun, umbrella drinks, and delicious food!
Mmmmmm I love mexican food!
Totally thought it was Sunday today until I read your post – it’s a good job I’m on holiday!!
Hope you enjoyed your weekend
You and your group of girls look like such a blast- glad it was a great time!
That looks like so much fun! I love a great Mexican restaurant with a fun atmosphere! I think I want my bachelorette to just be an awesome night with the girls that is fun and drama free!
Mad River was where I spent MANY a night dancing til 2. I miss it so much! Love the first pic of you – lookin gorgeous!
Sounds fun! I wish I had a bachelorette party on the horizon.
Looks awesome! I remember being the bride-to-be, thinking “this is my last time for crazy shinanigans!!” Haha. In reality, the good girlfriend times don’t stop rolling, but it’s a good mentality for a truly memorable night
Looks so fun! That mexican restaurant looks delicious!
ahh, I’ve never been to a bachelorette party! But it looks like so much fun!
cute outfit!!
My bachelorette was what I needed. I just wanted to relax after finishing up seminary and wedding planning. My friends and I rented some movies, ordered chinese food, sushi and our favorite tiramisu for a girls night in…with some fun games too.
I’m not really a drinker at all so I think my perfect bachelorette party include a really good meal, if it were mexican it would include one very yummy margarita, and spending time together in a fun hotel playing board games, having a dance party, or just whatever I enjoy being with my friends!
You definitely just recreated my college life in Philly!! I love all things Steven Starr and Mad River was always so much fun! Packed and crazy dancing is how I remember it. Glad you had a great time!
I love El Vez! Their goat cheese and pistachio guac is to die for!
Sounds like a lot of fun!
Looks like a blast
